This is a paradise. Lombok is 30 minutes flying from Bali, with the capital city named Mataram. You can also take a ferry, but not very comfortable as it includes several hours queing on the jetty.
The place is almost like Bali 10 years ago, not too much commersialized as Bali. Thus if you are planning to go to honeymoon, Lombok is better than Bali. They have beautiful sand, Kuta and Senggigi, as well as a beautiful view in the mountain area.
