We Stayed in Loft in Chengdu.
It was once a factory.
Actually a nicve building.
But....

DO NOT GO HERE!!

It is freezing there.
They have a ' central heating system' right.... rooms are cold. Where you can sit is cold and.... SHOWER IS COLD! When the room is 5 degrees celcius.... it's not very nice. I heard from some people that the showers in / for the dorms were oke. But still cold not very nice.
And then, only 1 of the staff members speaks english (sort of) There is no atmosphere, they are expensive in trips etc.
and above all... cold.

So what i'm trying to say is.... well maybe take a different hostel.

Visited is yesterday for the last day.

Hot Humid and very Smoggy pretty much describes Chengdu. If you're out walking it isn't long before your eyes start to sting from the bad air. Actually in the internet cafe I am in right now, the air is just as bad due to all the smokers. *sigh* Tha…Loft. I must say I was very very impressed. It has only been open for a few months so is still shiny and new. The staff speak perfect english. The rooms and beds looked comfy and every room has air con. Oh, and they have… Pandas? Where?
