The Loews Resort on Lake Las Vegas is a sophisticated option for those who wish to experience Las Vegas without actually staying on the strip. One still has complete access to everything the strip has to offer though the use of the hotel’s shuttle service but instead of a view of another building one can sit on one’s own terrace and look out at beautiful garden or lake. One of the best things about this resort is its sense of intimacy. The entire time that I stated with them all of the staff addressed me by name and when I entered the lobby I was greeted with a warm welcome instead of the riotous sounds of a casino. However I was not deprived of opportunities to gamble this Hotel does have a full casino it is just not the first thing you see when you enter the resort. If you are looking for hundreds of slot machines this is not the place for you but if you are looking to relax amidst beautiful ambiance be helped with impeccable service this is a perfect place to stay. As a fully functioning resort this hotel has every amenity that you could wish for including an outdoor pool, a gym and my favorite…a spa. Spa Moulay is a wonderful place to unwind after an exiting day on the strip and their salon can help ensure that when you go out for the day you look your best. But even if you don’t take advantage of the spa this resort with still leave you feeling pampered everything here is of the highest quality and the best taste. In your bathroom you will find all Spa Mulay products that are only slightly smaller than one might find at the store…now sample size soaps here but instead a full bar of the most luxurious oatmeal soap, you might just want to go down to the spa to purchase some more to take home. After relaxing in their generously sized bathtub you will have no problem falling asleep in there decadently soft beds complete with luxury bedding. If you are going to Las Vegas than I am sure that you will be looking forward to your choices of fine dinning options but in search of what is available on the strip don’t neglect to try the restaurants at this resort, I promise you won’t be disappointed. I had the pleasure of being married at this resort and had all of my friends and family come and stay for the wedding, to quote my Aunt Stephanie “I think this is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in.” The only flaw with staying here is that it sets the bar so high for anyplace you might go later.
Other amenities you might apreciate: this is a pet friendly resort so you can bring along fido, and they provide child care if this is family vaction for you and you want a romantic evening alone with just your spouse.
