Llandrindod Wells Vacation Guide

Llandrindod Wells is a spa town, which means it has some water coming out the ground somewhere. The Romans liked that sort of thing. Nowadays, it is a quintessential Welsh border town and home of beer guts and four by fours.

It doesn't strike me as there is that much to do here. The town square is quite nice - very plush grass on the lovely October day I saw it. Some of the buildings are quite interesting, and it still has some local shops that aren't brand names. I even bought some new hiking boots from one.

Kickin' in ain't though. The only restaurant I found was a Bengali Curry house.
