Livingstone Vacation Guide
People travel from all over the world to visit the Victoria Falls. When explorer David Livingstone first laid eyes upon the falls, he said 'scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight'.
The town of Livingstone is Zambia's closest outpost for visitors wishing to see the Victoria Falls. Livingstone is Zambia's tourist capital, although it hardly looks the part. Livingstone has often been described as more 'authentic' than Zimbabwe's town of Victoria Falls, which exists almost entirely for the benefit of tourists wishing to see the falls (yes, the town in Zimbabwe is actually called Victoria Falls, very confusing).

gone. We had a blast of a Thanksgiving
dinner at the hostel and I tried my hand at green bean casserole without the
benefit of an oven. It wasn’t pretty but
it was tasty. We hosted six gentlemen, a
sort of UN of sor…
