The Litchfield national park lies 100km east of Darwin.
Most of the major attractions in the park are linked by sealed road and are easily accessed by two-wheel drive car. However, some of the more remote attractions require a four-wheel drive to access them and care should be taken in the wet season.
There are plenty of interesting things here and plenty of good camping and cool water holes.
Its well worth spending the time to visit and take in the sights and sounds of the bush.
