Litchfield Lodge Bed & Breakfast Foster Reviews
An almost perfect and very personal B&B Jan 31, 2016
S38°39'08.3088" E146°11'43.2276" If you do not like to sleep in a tent on one off the 484 campsites at Tidal River, holiday accommodation outside Wilsons Promontory NP can be find around the villages of Yanakie or Foster. Some accommodation is on remote farms, but we wanted a B&B in a village on walking distance from pubs and restaurants.
The Litchfield Lodge B&B has three en suite rooms with double beds. We asked for a twin room. The owner placed an additional single bed in the double room for AUS$120 including tax per night in December 2015. The B&B offers a living room with television and something to drink and to snack at night. Our bedroom had very comfortable beds and a well-stocked bathroom with great shower. Fridge is in the dining room.
Roger & Meg ticked all the boxes to offer an excellent B&B. And they go even further with offering their inside knowledge on the Proms, washing our clothes and providing a lovely continental breakfast with coffee, tea, milk, fruit, yoghurt, orange juice and croissants with ham. During breakfast, Meg fed the birds, making it a spectacular breakfast.
Is there any room for improvement? Wi-Fi reception should not be limited to the dining room only. Roger, buy Meg some cheap Wi-Fi extenders and perfection is in your reach. Very recommended.
