I would advice you to go to SIntra (just outside Lisbon) and to Belém (part of Lisbon)!!

You must visit the São Jorge castle, the downtown area (good for shopping), Belem tower, Padrão dos Descobrimentos monument, and in this area you also have the presidential palace. You also have to try the famous Belém pastry (delicious). Bairro Alto (Lisbon typical area) is also a good place to visit. And of course the typical bus tour is a must (this way you see a bit more of Lisbon).

Ok, I love Lisbon and someday I would love to come back. As far as I can tell, there are not a whole lot of historical sights. What I really liked about it is that it was not crowded. There are not many tourists. I don’t think many people know abo…city. It was beautiful, with all the city lights and bridge (the one that looks like the Golden Gate Bridge ) was lit up as well. All the benches were filled, so we just sat on the ground against the fence for about ½ hour. I think… Part 3 of 3 of my Fall Break. Portugal |

Fado is Portugal’s folk music, the very 1st time I heard it was a song called 'Coisas Pequenas' by Madredeus. I am so angry at that time because my date stood me up, I was outside FNAC in Oporto in North Portugal and this song was playing, suddenl…city.
I stayed only 4 days in Lisbon and there are so many places to see and visit. I went to Lisbon Cathedral, built after 1147 over the remnants of the mosque of Islamic period, the Moors was there for sometime, it is beautiful. Then… FADO IS PORTUGAL |

My boyfriend and I don't really like celebrating New Year's Eve.. it's always the same.. so we decided to go abroad to celebrate New year's Eve. And so we went to Lisbon. We heard that New year's Eve in Lisbon supposed to be great :)
