I was awakened by the rustle of bags as my sister and her friend packed away the last remnants of their adventures into their backpacks. I traveld in the year 2003 with my best friends to Lisboa..!!! One really great time...!!! .... I think i need weeks...for this Blog.....but i have 1200 Photos.....and i must see the best ...for here...!!!...Uuuff...!!!...So i start now...

Studying abroad just doesn't mean partying and drinking, it means assimilating into the culture, learning the language, speaking the language, interacting with spaniards, eating spanish food "tapas", accepting the differences, opening up your horizons, being patient, and searching for yourself, for who you are. What originally brought me to Lisbon was The Optimus Alive festival, with headliner Rage Against the Machine. Other than a fantastic rock festival, I discovered an area so enchanting with astonishing natural beauty, which took my by surprise as it's seemingly outside the usual euro tourism radar. Incredible coastlines, classic moorish architecture, stunningly lush mountainous forests, delicious seafood & warm weather with deep blue skies. Yep.

It was late when we arrived but early enough to check out the nightlife of Lisbon and heard that Bairro alto was the place to be. Over the past couple of years I have travelled a lot and I have taken many pictures from all over the world. As I do not have time to write blogs I decided to post a selected range of pictures here. up-date will be done not regurarly but from time to time. Please note some pictures have not the best quality as older (1997 - 2000)ones are basically scanned negatives. Should I mixed up any place or so please let me know.
