I stopped at Cape Lookout for a quick hike - didn't make it all the way to the end. I figured the photo would look about the same and I still had lots of ground to cover. The Oregon Coast has many turn outs where you can pull over, take a quick photo and leave if you'd like. They are part of the state park system, but you don't have to pay to enjoy the beauty. I just got back from Oregon and found this to be a great state for relaxation and pure nature. I assumed Oregon would be a wasteland of trees and cold and miserable, but was pleasantly suprised to find a beautiful shore town (Lincoln City) and 90 degree temps. The Pacific Ocean was amazing with evergreen trees and Lighthouses dotting the landscape. If you like nature and want to get away and relax i give Oregon 2 thumbs up!!
