Despite the warnings, Limon can be a fun place to pass the day or night, not just to pass through. With a strong carribean vibe, the cruise ships dock here and are presented with a lot of colourful characters.
If planning to spend time here use your common sense and explore the colourful, carribean Limon.
Puerto Limon is a small, but very nice and very safe port town.
50% of the town consists of women's shoe stores. You can not walk down any one block of the town without passing two or three shoe stores for the ladies.
