The traditional Yannakakos guest house(former Captain Matapas tower), is at the historical Taxiarches, 17th March 1821 square in Areopolis, capital of inner Mani. The house comprising an old nucleus dating from the 17th-18th century, was also rebuild at a slow pace during the 19th and 20th century.It has been restored during 1995 and 1999 and has been converted to a traditional guest house.
