Lily Beach Island Resort Reviews

No shoes....No news!!! This is a wonderful little island, about 550mtrs by 50mtrs (takes about 20 mins to stroll around). Mainly used by Brits and Germans with a few Other European nationalities thrown in. It looks lovely when seen from the sea plane as you aproach for the first time. All public areas are swept and raked daily and the beach is cleaned and tidied
every night. The rooms are a few steps away from a beautifull beach, each room has 2 sun loungers on the beach and everyone sticks to there own which saves any petty arguments. On the beach is a water sports shack which has pedalos, wind surfers, canoes and a small catameran which is usualy skippered by one of the water sport guys, (n.b. All the staff in the resort are happy to accept tips, these guys are the same. They do not ask but if they take you out for an hour its not unreasonable to expect a few dollars as a tip) The sea is warm and crystal clear, the house reef is 30metres off the beach and is full of all kinds of sea life, we saw many types of fish and I was lucky enough to have a close encounter with a Manta ray. The snorkelling is a must! But also the perfect place to do nothing but read a book all day. |
