Lillehammer Vacation Guide
Lillehammer is a small town with around 50.000 inhabitants lying just north of Oslo. Lillehammer is most famous for hosting the 1994 winter Olympics which has been described as the best Olympics ever.
Dont miss the olympic ski slopes from the Olympics. They offer challenges for beginners as well as experts.
Not too far north of Lillehammer you find Hunderfossen Familypark. It's open both summer and winter and offers a wide range of activities and things to see. Closer to Lillehammer, you find Lilleputthammer. It's a miniature version of Lillehammer. Another place that are interesting are Maihaugen. It's a very old settlement and are today and open air museum. It tells the story of the people here and goes as far back as 300 years.
