Lido's is my favorite Italian Restaurant, conveniently located just beyond the movie theater on Pomeroy avenue. Food and service is great, we always get the Dominic's salad, ( which could almost be a meal in itself) but for two makes a great appetizer.
I love the shrimp scampi myself, my girlfriend usually gets whatever the special is, and we've never been disappointed! I often will get a meatball sub "to go" to save for lunch the next day. Great for pizza, too! If you get a bottle of wine with dinner and don't finish, they will re-cork it for you to take home. (This used to be a big "no-no" in Connecticut!) We keep saying we should try other places, but every time we go out we always seem to wind up at Lido's! |
