Stayed at the apartments attached to the hotel complex. I am a United Airlines flight attendant and the hotel takes extremely good care of us. The hotel is staffed with exeptionally helpful and courteous people. There is a Starbucks off the lobby for those wantinf thier latte's. There is also a well stocked market there with many american foods as well as international foods. Wine prices are good. The hotel is located close (by taxi) to most of the major attractions. I will be happy to have another layover there soon!

Librette and I ended up meeting Jan and Paula at the Guomao subway stop, then taking a bus to Lido since there is a bowling alley inside the Holiday Inn Lido. After much drama with the girl behind the counter, we settled into 2 teams (a student of Librette’s and his friend met us there, then a friend of Wandi’s met us later… The End of Spring Festival and Valentine's Day |

Saturday I took a trip to Lido, where I met Wandi. I took the bus #707 which went by cool places such as the Kerry Center, Hard Rock Café, the Lufthansa Center and the Kempinski Hotel, Lady Street and then to the Holiday Inn Lido.
