Best value accomodation on Ile St. Marie in Madagascar Jul 24, 2006
Libertalia is ran by a French-Italian couple which decided to move in Madagascar while they were on trip there.
The hotel posses one of the best locations possible: - close to the port; - close to the main city and still outside it; - right on the beach, close to a tiny rock connected by a bridge to the hotel; Extremely hospitable staff and the owners which are personally involved in running the place. The cuisine was topical French. The bungalows had the usual roof made of leaves so the air was always fresh. The bed was protected with mosquito net. In-house services include rent-a-bike, whale watching trips and transport around this tiny piece of paradise.  Part of the Madagascar - July 2007 travel blog
