I went down to Fort Jackson SC to watch my brother graduate from ARMY basic training. Then we went to Myrtle Beach and it was a BLAST!

Instead of driving 16 hours straight to Georgia we stopped overnight in Lexington, KY, home to the University of Kentucky. Unfortunately it was still rainy, so we didn't go see the campus, but the Fazoli's in town was excellent!

It was here I made my last fill up, and it was a good thing. I only had $28 left in my pocket. I was fortunate to pick up traveling buddies from Ohio, and these buddies were with me until I270, 4 miles from my home...

会社の仕事で赴任していました。
会社には日本人は誰も居ずに始めは大変でした。
隣町GeorgeTownにトヨタの工場が建築中で、始めの頃は何人かの建設会社の日本人が居ました。
その後、工場も完成し、沢山のトヨタ社員、関係会社社員の日本人も住み始めた町です。
今では結構な数の日本人が住んでいるのだろうと思います。

I visited Lexington summer 2007 (I am a veterinary student). We visited the racetracks, big racing farms, and the huge equine veterinary clinics in the area. The rolling hills filled with beautiful horses was absolutely gorgeous!
