This place didn’t open that long time ago; my guess is less than a month ago. I have been coming there a lot since then because I really enjoy the ambiance and the laidback atmosphere.
The place has some wonderful huge windows that goes from the floor and to the ceiling; my guess is that these are almost 3,60-4 meters high. Inside you have a mix of bricks and olive green walls. The furniture is old school chairs and tables, with carvings in done by students over time. You sit quite well here and the mix is cozy and relaxing. There are two rooms connected by a huge opening and the other room contains the bar and an old fashion living room furniture group consisting of 4 chairs from the 1920th, which is just wonderful. The food is plain and honest, nothing fancy but it is nice and you get your hunger covered. Their menu is printed on old magazine covers and it fits with the retro interior. It is a great place to hang out for lunch or a light evening dinner. Part of the Belgium, Brussels and more 2006-2009 and still counting travel blog |
