Leo's Retreat - Cairns - Cheap Budget Hotel Deals and Reviews

We accidently stumbled onto Leo's Retreat backpackers accommadation in Cairns, when we arrived by train they were one of the first places we saw with accommadation still available.
We don't usually stay at backpackers as we are rather older than most backpackers, but we took a double room that was exactly the same as a motel unit at a fraction of the cost. We even had air conditioning! There is a swimming pool available and the internet, but what surprised us was that the evening meal and breakfast was thrown in for free. Sure the evening meal was pretty basic, but it was very filling, a big baked potatoe filled with baked beans, we bought some other things to add to it and made a delicious meal.
Leo's is quite close to the city, just a short walk.
We were so impressed with this establishment that we returned for another night at the end of our holiday, the rental car firm was just up the road so it was very convenient.
