The 3-star hotel Leonor de Aquitania is situated in the ancient part of Cuenca on calle San Pedro near Plaza Mayor. From the outside not really striking, the interieur of the hotel is quite charming.

You enter the hotel by a big old door. The reception and lobby are decorated with big gobelins.
All rooms at the backside have a splendid view to the "Hoz del Huecar". They are all different in size and furniture, so first have a look before you decide to stay. Best room is the suite "La Hebrea Hermosa" with wonderfull views to the medieval city and the hanging houses.

In the cellars the hotel offers a great restaurant called "Homo de las Campanas". For the restaurant you have to descend by a stairway with a collection of deer horns and heads. Guess what's on the menu!

Leonor de Aquitania is good suggestion when spending the night in Cuenca. Certainly value for money. Nice atmosphere.
