Lenna of Hobart Reviews
Affordable Jul 16, 2009
The hotel was built in 1874 and is a magnificantly restored colonial home.
It does make for an unusual building. There is a central staircase and a lift next to that. Take the lift to the basement and that is the carpark level. Level 1 not only has some rooms but also the reception area, a lounge area that serves food and drink all day and a restaurant. Levels 2, 3, and 4 have more rooms, some overlooking the harbour, the park, the mountains or the city. Level 2 also has a guest laundry. Level 5 is the penthouse. There are broadband facilities, including a computer for guest use in the lounge. There is also free carparking. It is within easy walking distance of the Salamanca Markets that are run on Saturdays.
