Lencois Vacation Guide
Lencois is the gateway to Chapada Diamantina National Park in the state of Bahia in northeastern Brazil. It is 410 km west of Salvador and it takes about a six hour bus ride from there to get to Lencois. Once you are in Lencois, you can arrange for plenty of activities- trekking, sightseeing, cave exploration and more at one of the many tourism offices in the center of town. There are several hotels and pousadas there and many decide to camp in tents.
