From the moment you drive into the dirt road that takes you to the cabins, you feel a sense of peace envelope you. Lemonthyme Lodge is in a very private location set amongst a lush private rainforest with tall gum trees and giant ferns.

The staff spoil you by setting up your fire each day while you are out exploring, and feeding you delicious meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After dinner, you have the chance to feed the nocturnal animals who come in for a feed every evening at the back of the main cabin.

There is a fully stocked bar for you to enjoy your favourite beverage while sitting in front of a roaring fire and chatting with other guests of the lodge.

I love this place, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend some time in the Cradle Mountain area.
