Legazpi Vacation Guide
The City of Legazpi is the home of the beautiful Mount Mayon which for years was a perfect cone shaped volcano until the recent spewing of lava back in the early 2000.
It is located in the province of Albay in Luzon and is considered as the Bicol Region's third top tourist destination according to the 2008 Department of Tourism Statisitics.
Legazpi is a good jump off point to Cagsawa Ruins and Donsol, Sorsogon which is famous for its Butanding (whale sharks).

It was first ever Bicolandia trip! Though it may be short, it was still a very fulfilling experience. Thank God the sun showed up on Day 2 so we can marvel at the world famous Mayon Volcano!
