Legally Blonde on Broadway - New York - TravBuddy

To be honest, I didn't have much interest in this show (though I'm a big fan of Broadway musical and ballet). The show received rave reviews from every major magazines and marks the Broadway directorial debut of Tony Award-winning choreographer Jerry Mitchell and Laura Bell Bundy as Elle Woods(I'm a big fan!!!). I didn't like the movie, too much girlishness, pink and Reese Witherspoon so I though I wouldn't like the show. So when my friends invited me to Broadway's Palace Theatre with an orchestra ticket, I still didn't want to go. He actually literally had to drag me to theatre and I'm glad he did, because the show was a blast.

If you have never seen a Broadway musical, you really should start with this one. The story line is a bit cheesy, but if you have seen the movie, you will see they stick to the original scrip. Except on Broadway Laura Bell Bundy sings and dances and full of high energy in a way that just brighten up your day (but I still miss her as Glenda in Wicked -_-). There is not a moment of dullness. The choreography is spectacular, with high number of dancers, just the way a musical should be. It's perfect for the holidays.

If you are going to NYC, book the ticket. This is a must see!!!!
