Left at Albuquerque Travel Reviews

Apr 25, 2007
This seems to be a busy place especially on the weekends. Many students were hanging out at Left at Albuquerque to eat and to have a good time with a few drinks.

We got chips and salsa but this time they were a bit different, multicoloured to be correct, green, red, blue and the normal tortilla chip colour. The salsa was red like the average salsa tends to be.

I had the vegetable burrito, which was quite tasty with squash, eggplant, tomato, and onions in it with a bit of cheese sauce with green rice, also known as the Veggie Stampede Burrito. My boyfriend had the enchiladas and he thought they tasted good, not the best he has eaten, but neither the worst. He had a side of black beans as well as green rice. At first, we were not so sure about the green rice but once we tried it, it turned out to be not that bad. It tasted of cilantro but considering that it looked very vivid green, they might have used food dye, too. We also had the sopapillas for dessert, which were actually quite good, a bit rich because of the abundance of caramel sauce. I imagined the dough to be heavier but it was quite light.
