Lebanese Restaurant Beirut Aug 04, 2008
At the 10th of July I visited the city of Cologne. At the end of the day we decided to eat at this Lebanese restaurant, just because I never ate at a Lebanese restaurant before and I had never seen one where I live. The place looked like an ordinary kebab-shop from the outside, but had enough place to sit and a cute interior.
The first thing we noticed that it was very, very cheap for a restaurant in a big city centre. I had a chicken soup called Schorbat Dschäsch at first. It looked very special and the owner gave me a bag full of Lebanese bread. It tasted delicious. Afterwards I had a main dish called Taouk Bil Khodra, a plate with chicken served with country potatoes. Very nice! The owner gave us a free Lebanese mint-tea which completed the night in style. I really enjoyed eating here and can recommend it to all of you! |
