Ethnic restaurant in the Mar 10, 2011
I last ate in the Rue Daguerre years ago, in a creole restaurant of Réunion. Another recollection is that the rue Daguerre has a pedestrian zone at one end.

There are still créole-Réunion-restaurants in the street; and lot of others. In fact, the whole rue Daguerre seems to be a following of restaurants, of all sorts, incl. some serving foods originating from colder places.

At the "Zango" you have also "formules", with one where the "apéritif" is also included. I chose one apéritif with a flashy name, which I don't remember, but which is made of rum. In other times, the drink would have been served with a bright-coloured umbrella in it; but it seems that this trend is gone.

I chose a canard (duck)as main course. I think, I'm partial to canard, especially when it is cooked with "miel" (honey). To go with the canard there was fries made of sweet potatoes. And as wine we chose a Cahors.

I was a bit surprised that the crowd was somewhat youngish.
