For less than $22 you can stay here, in a room with many other people (I didnt count, but I'd say more than 10, less than 16)... You sleep on an ok inflatable bed, a thick one. There are sheets, but I was cold, but too lazy to go find extra sheets.. I used my jacket instead.. haha
There is free breakfast: we had bagels with jelly and butter, and the night we arrived there was free pasta & tomato sauce too! There were 2 free computers to use, but only 1 had internet. Of course, you dont need it, as Montreal has so much interesting things to do and see!!! I would definitely recommend this hostel, nice location, 5 minutes from the riverfront, bar/restaurant on less than 1 minute walking distance. Enjoy your stay!

Great place with lots of friendly people. Le Sous-bois has an awesome lay-out and very interesting wood construction (thus, the name... look it up if you're puzzled). Pluses are the amenities - internet, skype, full kitchen, free breakfast, unique restrooms - and location. However, it's a tad bit expensive for a hostel- though well worth it if you're willing to pay.
