Le Souk Reviews
Really Fun Moroccan Club with Great House Music Downstairs and mix of music upstairs May 13, 2008
Le Souk is a Moroccan restaurant during the day with traditional Moroccan and north African dishes. They have belly dancers as well. However I recommend going later when it turns into a club ! The upstairs has 2 bars and a small dancefloor, where people drink, smoke hookahs and dance to middle eastern music, house music, and hip hop mix, all very danceable stuff. Sometimes they have a guy on the drums accompanying the music. Downstairs is a bigger dancefloor in a sort of atrium, there is a balcony overlooking the dance floor and a high skylight/ceiling. The music is amazing ! If you like house this is the place for you, everything is very danceable, nothing too hard. It is a place where everyone is always having a good time. I go here all the time and always have a fun time. There is always a good crowd, good mix of people, there is the dance floor, but if you prefer to sit and drink and watch there are plenty of couches to lounge on as well.
