Le Royal Meridien Bristol Hotel Warsaw Reviews
Old times splendor Mar 18, 2010
Le Bristol, now a part of the 5 star Le Meridien chain, is simply the best you can get in Warsaw. A typical night would cost you under 100 Euros- which for a five star hotel is incredibly inexpensive; please try to top that in any capital in the world! A stone throw away from the historical Old Warsaw, situated on King's Promenade, it is the place to stay at, so close to the National Theater & the Opera, the best shops and restaurants. And the nightlife... OMG- I have never felt so safe (albeit a little cold), you could walk back to the hotel early hours of the morning and no-one would bother you! Perhaps because of its beautiful architecture or maybe due to the fact that Warsaw was almost totally demolished during the second world war, but the Varsovians are so proud of their heritage and Le Bristol Meridien is part of their very soul. In my opinion, yes, there are much better deals to be had in Warsaw but this is a luxury hotel and it's incredible value for elegant surroundings. |

Ugh. The bus ride. Worst one yet!!!

Another day of work… blah, blah, blah. The bonus today was lunch. They made sure I was well fed today. Lunch consisted of a type of pea soup and pirogues. It was very good and apparently very authentic.
