Le Parc Suites West Hollywood Reviews
Le Parc on Le Halloween Nov 03, 2008
There is no better hotel to stay on Halloween night then Le Parc.
#1 Proximity to the West Hollywood Halloween parade #2 Le Parking (expensive at $26 night) We arrived at 6pm on a Friday night, not the best time to be trying to get somewhere in Los Angeles. Though it took a while to get there, we were promptly in our spacious suite that included a kitchenette, balcony, living room, master bedroom, small bathroom, and dining area. The Good: location to the halloween parade, literally two blocks away. It was quiet, spacious, and came with a fold out couch which we used for a couple friends of ours who crashed in our room. Close to La Cienga with clubs right around the corner and street foods (great, I mean GREAT tamales, get them if you can, but they could use salsa). Great cafe for dining and pool and tennis court on the roof (with tennis instructor available). The Bad: a bit pricey, and the couch has a board in it that I whacked my tail bone on as I sat down for the first time...it still hurts. The Ugly: fellow guests ,well, I wouldn't call them ugly, but motley, they were rather a motley crue. My friends in the rock band Sonic Youth stay there, so, you get the picture. Overall, a great experience. I recommend it, though, if you live in town, you might want to consider hiring a chauffeur at these rates. Will |
