Panthéon in Paris Feb 04, 2012
Le Panthéon was built in 1790. It's still one of the most important buildings in Paris. It's not working as a church anymore and it stands as a mausoleum of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Voltaire, Emile Zola, Victor Hugo and many other famous people who are martyrs for the French Revolution.

Inside the structure there are many paintings from both 13th and 14th centruies. The Corinthian columns are inspiring. The physicist Léon Foucault's pendulum is hanged to the interior dome(67 meters) and it demonstrates the rotation of the earth.

I believe Le Panthéon is definitely a must visit place in Paris. When I was there the entrance fee was 6,50 euro.
