"Le Mazot" is a restaurant serving Swiss food, located in one of the squares up in the higher part of the old town. At first we were shocked to see that people were smoking in the restaurant but then remembered that not every country has brought in a smoking ban for enclosed spaces. The place seemed quite busy and there were both locals and tourists. I had planned to have a fondue (you have to have fondue if you're in Switzerland) but was seduced by a cream and garlic Rösti in the end. That turned out to be an exceptionally delicious meal. It was so good that there was no question we'd come back the next day to have it again, and this time Matt ordered the same. Prices, from a UK perspective at least, seemed very reasonable, and the waiters were maybe a bit understaffed but always friendly.
