Quaint Charm Apr 09, 2008
The moment you enter the Manoir grounds you are awed by its quaint beauty [I love using the word quaint:)]. The rooms are cozy, grand and stylishly furnished. The bathroom is quite big and the towels are white and fluffy. We stayed there for two nights and used it as base while we toured the Loire Valley Chateaux.
The one negative was the overpriced breakfast and the impolite lady serving it. I had asked her if I could have another croissant and she refused and informed me that it was one croissant per person... right because that one croissant would bring the whole economy of France down. I would have taken issue with her attitude but I let it go since I was on vacation. |
