In the surrounding of the Chatelain in Brussels you have an enormous amount of bars and restaurants and just to visit all of them would be a huge task. I have over the years tried many of them, but new ones are coming all the time.
Le Macaron is a very cozy restaurant situated on a corner. It has an ancient and simple look inside, and you feel that this is a place that is situated in the countryside. The restaurant is in two levels; they have very few tables downstairs and I find the downstairs area more cozy but you might as well also sit upstairs I did that last time. The food is really good; they serve both traditional Belgian and Italian cuisine. I had a wonderful fish dish last time I was there and their wine list is also okay.
