Jun 26, 2006 What a quaint gem in the heart of the Loire Valley! We paid a halfboard rate which meant we got our room, breakfast and dinner included in our rate. For as little as the $ is trading for the Euro this ended up being quite a savings. The gormet meals were amazing. The rooms were spotless and accented in French country motif. We can't say enough good things about this place and the Newington Family which owns and runs it. The family we went with had 2 chidren (ages 9 & 11). The owners went overboard to make the children feel welcome. Each time when we came for a meal, there was a place prepared especially for them. |
