5 mins walk to Nana station. Pretty central location. Just right across QBar. Hotel guest are entitled complimentary entry to QBar and Bed Supper Club.
Clean rooms, chic and modern. There's a roof top bar, "Nest" that's nice to chill out. |

Fine Fenix May 21, 2009
"The epicentre of all things hip," so the hotel's website claims, and I agree to this most unreservedly. If you're keen on posh city center accommodation, this is just the right place. Its futuristic design may seem a tad dated (talk about irony!) but the clean interiors and sleek angles make for a really hip vibe.
I especially chose this hotel as one of my weekend trip's itinerary was a semi-private party at Q Bar just across the street. And what do you know, I flash my Le Fenix hotel key card and I get free entry to this poshest of Bangkok's bars. A welcome surprise for me was the indoor pool that features large panoramic floor-to-ceiling glass windows -- and may your fellow hotel guests insist on sleeping till noon -- you could actually enjoy the whole view and experience for yourself by yourself and your significant other all morning, no distractions whatsoever. Le Fenix also has three restaurant and bars -- the rooftop affair the most exciting of them all, so much so that visitors staying at other hotels in the area make an appointment to wine and dine with a view of the skyline from this luxurious perch. Last but not least, you get a 2-hour complimentary wi-fi from your own room, though you have to use that up in one go. Oh well, we're in Bangkok to party, not spend hours on TravBuddy! Haha! nice hotel just off of Sukhumvit Road Apr 17, 2008
Found this hotel on the internet and was happy with it. The hotel is a short walk from the night market on Sukhumvit Road. You can easily walk to the BRT Nana Station. Far enough away from Nana Entertainment plaza so you do not need to see that part of Bangkok if not wanted. A good bar called Q right across the street.
The pool is nice but very cold as it is not heated and it is indoor. The rooms are large with soft beds. Nice flat screen tv in each room. The bed sits on an odd wooden platform that is wider then the mattress so I banged my feet many times. The rooms only have showers and the water tends to spay all over the bathroom. Worst part of the hotel are the tiny widows. They let in very little light and you can barely see anything out of them from most of the rooms. Make a reservation online as it is much cheaper. I paid more then 1000 baht more a night when I did not use the online booking agent. The staff were great. Good English and more then willing to help you with questions. We noticed the staff were always happy even smiling when not dealing with customers. Must be treated well from the owners and management. If the price stays the same I will be back. Might be hard for some taxi drivers to find because it is small. Just tell him Q Bar and they seem to know that place very well. Part of the Thailand April 2008. Damn it was hot travel blog |
