Le Dune Sicily Hotel Catania

If you need someplace to stay near the airport, or near the city without being IN the city (and if you've driven around Catania, you'll know this is WISE) this place is perfect. They have a shuttle to the airport (just make sure to reserve the time the night before you want to use it), and they do have parking, although it's not paved and a little tricky to maneuver, and it does get full. I don't know know where you would park if it was full.

The food in the restaurant was great, and the front desk was very helpful. If you arrive late at night though, they might not speak a lot of English.

Rooms have all amenities. I did hear some people complaining at the desk about their non-smoking room smelling like smoke, and the guy said, "They're all non-smoking! You can open the window!" The other desk folks weren't that dismissive, and frankly, my room didn't smell like smoke, although a little musty...but it is really close to the beach. You can walk across the street and be on the sand. I didn't go because it was cold, so you're on your own for the beach review.
