Affordable good French cuisine Jan 31, 2009
We often go there with friends in this Bistrot de Cuisiniers run by JP Lacome not for the area,which offers nothing to see or to do except the visit of Ma Tante if you are broke(Ma Tante literraly my aunt, means also the municipal pawnshop!) but fot the real family cuisine based on ingredients from the market of the day,offered at reasonable prices.The Saturday evening menu costs 23,80 euro with a starter,main course and cheese or dessert.You can eat a little green salad and a main course for 11,50 euro.
Kid menu till 12 costs 10 euro. The red wine of the month,a Bergerac Château Roquepeyre 2006 costs 21,50 euro.  Part of the LYON "canteens" travel blog |
