Le Bistro du Museé Bordeaux Reviews
Great place to have a relaxing meal Oct 07, 2015
The restaurant Le bistro du musee is located next to the Bordeaux Cathedral on the shadow side so to speak. It is a traditional French bistro, and a place worth visiting if you want to have local food made with love and passion and far from being pretentious.
The interior is cosy and pays respect or tribute to the French wine heritage. I particularly liked the brick wall a long the whole restaurant with old wine relics mounted in the wall and the hand painted walls.
They run a menu concept and I took the middle level and a bottle of their red house wine. The food was great and the wine was really round and tasty. The food was beyond good and the portions were really large.
The service was really friendly and nice even though the two girls working there were almost too busy due to a full restaurant. It was a really pleasant place with good food.
