Lazy bones Reviews
My favorite hostel ever! Nov 25, 2007
This was by far the best hostel I have stayed in anywhere around the world. It was relaxed and beautiful. There was a pool table, 5 computers, a decent sized outdoor pool with lounge chairs and lots of hammocks and chairs to relax in. The rooms where good even if they were lots of people in there. It's newer so it isn't in the lonely planet yet but I would HIGHLY recommend this place. (It has a sister hostel in Granada...that place is terrible.) After backpacking for a while a hostel like this is a godsend. I was truly lazy in the Lazy Bones Hostel for a few days and had a great time working on my tan.
It's not the cheapest place in town to stay but I stayed there one night and heard about Lazy Bones and figured 3USD more a night was worth it. Part of the Nicaragua travel blog |

Jan 09, 2007Three months into my trip, and Lazy bones in Leon, is the nicest hostel i have stayed in so far. Amazing, there is no other word for it. The rooms are exactly the same as Oasis (owned by the same ppl as Oasis and also Craters edge) but Lazy bones is more nicer (something i didnt feel would happen) but it really is. Dorms great, and $6 or to us english folk 3quid, and this place i consider luxury absolute paradise... for that 3quid you get 1. High speed internet 2. Gorgeous swimming pool 3. a large spacious patio with hammocks a great place to sit and chill 4. free coffe and tea 5. A pool table 6. Mini gym!! 7. Kitchen use 8. Fridge use 9. Dvd rental 10. lovely dorm room, which is super clean, with a huge locker... 11. Very friendly staff (something Oasis missed out on) And if thats not enough reasons, then it is also in a great location, close to everything you need. If your planning on going to Leon, and want somewhere to stay, then with out a doubt, come here!!! there is nowhere else which is going to be as good as this... and also come on its only 3bloody quid.... But we are here safely and we was taken to our hostels door, which is where we are now, Lazy bones! And as i said in the review it is great! Been here 4 days, and now we have the whole dorm to ourselves and only a few people about! So far we have found it hard to find a really nice place to eat, as it seems… Nicaragua! |
