latakia sea city on the beach of median white sea and the main city for import & export and trade , the city connect syria with Euro and 1 from the main cities and there are the main harbor for that , when u go there u must rent home at beach for some days , in the summer Full people and maybe u cant found place empty and sure the price more than normal time in the year so u cant say about it cheap city .
more there are (Salma village) & (Slinfa village) and farms called (AL ghab) , Slinfa 1350m over sealevel make u see the clouds and touch them and the look amazing from there for the down for the farms , the weather cold or very cold in summer u freeze morning and u can see fog and fuzzy air lock , the road not easy with 180deg turns but any way nice . by the way u need digital camera with a big optical zoom to make u have nice photo from up .
The city itself does`nt offer any good attractions , but it is a good place to stay to reach the very nice crusader castle Qala`at Salah ad-Din and the ruins of an ancient city called Ugarit.

There were only a couple of couchsurfers in the City, but none of them hosted, although one guy ran the Safwan Hotel. Hav…
