The weather was bleak, rainy and dark when we disembarked from our train in Latakia, so we hopped into a taxi for the 10 minute journey to our hotel, which only cost 45SYP ($1). latakia sea city on the beach of median white sea and the main city for import & export and trade, the city connect syria with Euro and 1 from the main cities and there are the main harbor for that, when u go there u must rent home at beach for some days, in the summer Full people and maybe u cant found place empty and sure the price more than normal time in the year so u cant say about it cheap city.
more there are (Salma village)&(Slinfa village) very nice and cold in summer.
