The Luxor was actually a really cool hotel. It has a giant pyramid outside of it that shines a light into the sky at night. The whole hotel is filled with sphynx and other Egyptian sculptures. Ever been to a place where you can have a ride in a rollercoaster around your hotel? No? Than you've never been to Vegas. What a crazy place is this! We arrived here in the night from Sunday to Monday, which is the most quiet night in Vegas. That's why only 2 of the about 25 incheck points in the Excallibur… Have you ever been in Las Vegas? |

It is usual practice in Las Vegas to pay a different rate every night you stay in a hotel based on how many people are there. It is the most dramatic example I have ever come across of variable hotel pricing based on supply and demand. I guess they use a system like the airlines, which assess prices… My tips for visiting Las Vegas |

And then we went to the Wynn's Hotel and Tryst Night Club. Ok, I liked the hotel, but the Club was so not me. (Check out my review of Tryst). I think we headed home at around 1am and went straight to bed. We were all tired and it wouldn't surprise… My first time in Vegas.... shopping and clubbing at Tryst |

We arrived in Vegas about 5pm and were soon checking into our hotel. At $30 a night, we were staying in one of Las Vegas' older, shabbier hotels, but it was clean, lively and still on the strip. Whilst checking in, you had the opportunity for a 'free roll' of the dice, with prizes including $100, drinks… Las Vegas baby... |
