BellTrans is a great transportation alternative when visiting Vegas and your hotel doesn't offer a complimentary shuttle. Most do not. And being the cheap guy that I am, I also prefer to not pay the cab rates in Vegas or pay daily parking fees at my hotel for a rental car I'm probably not going to use while there anyway! Vegas is a pedestrian city with all the big casinos within walking distance of each other.
The buses pick up outside the baggage claim area. Just go to the window of the small building outside and tell the agent where you're headed. I always purchase a round trip ticket. They'll direct you to one of several vans or mini-buses waiting. You'll be riding with other passengers to various properties along the way so depending on where your hotel is, it could be a short ride or a long one, however, this is the cheapest option for getting to your hotel from the airport.
Clean buses and vans with mostly friendly drivers. Have only come across one jerk in the six times I've used them. Most are very nice. Be sure to tip as it's not included in the fare.
