Las Terrenas Overview
Las Terrenas is a small town, located in the northeastern coast of the Samaná Peninsula. It has more than 15Km of cream and White sand beaches, lined with tall palm trees and pastel-colored fishing boats.
Las Terrenas, located in the settlement of former fishermen and farmers is now invaded by an increasing spontaneous tourism. The beaches almost virgins allow an absolute abandon in the middle of a vegetation of wild flowers and the singing of the birds. The tiny population of fishermen of Holy Barbara de Samaná, founded in 1756, has transformed in a net tourist village, but without losing its original airs. There are excellent variety of hotel and agreeable restaurants.
This is the perfect place for enjoining a real Caribbean paradise in the funkiest style.
