Las Casitas Inn Reviews
Affordable & Conveniently Located in central Davao Mar 08, 2010
Las Casitas, situated 3 blocks from the People's Park & 1 block from several restaurants, is an old-style inn, with regular keys on over-sized key chains which you can leave with the front desk as you go out. On the Mezzanine level is a mini spa. Not having availed myself of their services, I can only say that the prices seem reasonable ( 300 pesos for a massage - about $7). I opted for a single room, since I'm traveling alone & didn't want to splurge on this trip. It's more of a scouting/research trip, w/some sight-seeing & relaxation thrown in. My room is very small. It does have all the necessities (towel, air con, etc.) but little else.
In fact, the sink doesn't have hot water. That being said, the private bathroom proved satisfactory as did the room in general. The shower curtain was about an inch too short, allowing the floor to get wet. On the 3rd day, I was provided with a bath mat- apparently an oversight that I didn't even notice. Only 1 towel was provided but, it is a single room.
I would stay here again.
FYI: The hotel does confirm/request confirmation of reservation via text msg.
