Seaside Sweets Mar 10, 2008
Lappert's Ice Cream & Coffee is located at Hermosa Pier Plaza. The place is decked out in island-style decor. Reggae and Hawaiian music play softly in the background. Aside from being a sweets and coffee shop, Lappert's also has island-style merchandise for sale like T-shirts and wet-suits.
After our walk on the pier, we wanted to satisfy our sweetteeth. I got the macadamia nut ice cream. My cousin got a crepe with butter and sugar. The ice cream was good...could have used more nuts though. The crepe was very tasty and delicious. Service was a bit slow because it was late and I think they were prepping to close. The interior was very relaxing. There is outdoor seating in the plaza which would be a perfect place to chill on a warm sunny day.  Part of the To Live and Dine in L.A. travel blog
